For, and by, young professionals 

Young Eneco is the young professional association for, and by, young Eneco employees. Every year, we organise all kinds of activities related to networking, knowledge-sharing and fun. 

Accelerate the energy transition 

Young professionals at Eneco have a clear and common bond: to help with the energy transition and make the Netherlands more sustainable. They create space for substantive discussions, by organising lectures and interactive workshops in the field of biodiversity and circularity. Other activities include visits to our assets such as our heating plant. Our young colleagues also offer direct input to Eneco's One Planet Plan strategy.  

Networking and connecting 

To accomplish our ambitious mission, our Young Eneco employees look for moments to connect with each other. For example, at events, they share their knowledge and experience in the field of sustainability. Our Young Eneco employees are ambitious, innovative and positive by nature, with an inherent drive for personal growth and a delight in meeting new colleagues. 

Socialising

We haven’t forgotten the need for socialising and that is why our Young Eneco professionals regularly meet for drinks at Eneco's favourite pub or at other locations in different cities Sometimes, those activities are combined with a tasting or a sports activity, such as a padel tournament or going bouldering together. Some activities are recurrent annual events, like our fantastic summer party and the annual Young Eneco skiing trip. Socialising makes work more fun for young professionals – after all, work is fun!
