What you’ll do

As a Senior Sitecore Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital platforms that empower our energy transition mission. Your focus will be on ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of our Sitecore environment, while also fostering innovation and collaboration with our development teams. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • Support development teams as the go-to expert for Sitecore integration, helping teams deliver features across Eneco’s websites and apps. 

  • Continuously expand and enhance the capabilities of our Sitecore Digital Experience Platform (DXP), adapting to the evolving needs of the organization. 

  • Ensure the Sitecore platform is configured for ease of use, empowering DevOps teams to operate independently and efficiently. 

  • Oversee the Kubernetes infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support Sitecore, ensuring smooth and rapid deployment of new features. 

  • Drive discussions on Sitecore’s architecture, ensuring seamless integration with the broader technical ecosystem and optimal performance. 

Is this about you?

  • 5+ years of Sitecore experience implementing solutions in an enterprise setting. Experience with XM Cloud or other CMS platforms is a plus. 

  • 5+ years of .NET web development and Azure DevOps experience. Front-end development skills (React, JavaScript/TypeScript) are a plus. 

  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized workflows. 

  • Proven understanding of HELIX architecture principles and headless web development. Experience with Next.js is a bonus. 

  • Proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively. 

You’ll be responsible for

  • Ensuring the quality, performance, and stability of the headless Sitecore solution used by development teams. 

  • Coordinating DevOps/SRE activities to guarantee smooth operation of the Sitecore platform, ensuring 24/7 availability. 

  • Implementing the latest versions, updates, and security patches for the Sitecore environment. 

  • Leading architectural discussions to optimize Sitecore’s role within the overall technical landscape. 

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver Sitecore solutions that meet business and technical needs.

You will work closely with a team of Sitecore developers, front-end engineers, and UX/UI designers, collaborating to deliver innovative digital experiences. Together, you will drive the success of Eneco’s digital platforms and contribute to a sustainable future. 

What we have to offer

Gross annual salary between €79.000 and €108.000

Including FlexBudget, 8% holiday allowance, and depending on your role a bonus or collective profit sharing.
