As a Senior Power Trader, you’ll play a key role in supporting Eneco's trading activities through devising and executing profitable trade strategies.

As a Power Trader, you are thoroughly familiar with the energy markets in which Eneco operates. You will be part of a team where you will be given major responsibilities, developing and implementing trading strategies. The commodity markets around us are changing rapidly and the impact of the energy transition is becoming increasingly visible. At Eneco, we follow these changes closely.
Within the Asset Backed Trading department, we have extensive knowledge of commodity markets and we apply this to market trading positions as effectively as possible.
You work together as one team but also have individual responsibilities to contribute to our goals. In doing so, you are proactive in helping to accelerate the energy transition. You will be creating an environment in where you exchange insights and opinions with colleagues.

As a Power Trader you are responsible for trading in the European Power markets. The market has no secrets for you. Together with a team of fellow traders and analysts, you are expected to minimize costs and exploit opportunities as much as possible within this rapidly changing environment.

As a Power Trader, you will work within the Asset Backed Trading Team for Eneco Energy Trade, Eneco's international trading division, right next to Rotterdam-Alexander station. A complex, dynamic environment where ever-moving markets, ever-changing positions, new technologies, and the law of inhibiting head start create a challenging field of tension.
Asset Backed Trading Team is part of Eneco Energy Trade (EET). EET is the international trading division of Eneco. With a diverse team of about one hundred and thirty motivated and highly educated employees, we work on an optimal market vision that supports Eneco's sustainability goals. EET forms a dynamic and complex working environment that requires a lot of initiative and insight. We interact quickly with each other in an informal, transparent and collegial atmosphere.
