Our excellent employment conditions

A good salary

The amount listed in the job vacancy is your gross salary, including a FlexBudget and 8% holiday allowance. Depending on your contract, you may also be eligible for:
  • A bonus or collective profit sharing
  • €32.50 net per month as a home office allowance
  • €30.00 net per month for using your own phone for work
  • €30.00 gross per month towards your health insurance premium if you take out an additional policy with Zilveren Kruis.

FlexBudget

In addition to your salary, you will receive a FlexBudget. Each month, you can decide how to use this budget. You can choose to:
  • Have it paid out monthly
  • Have it paid out later in the year
  • Purchase extra vacation days
  • Buy a (electric) bike through our ‘Bike plan’.

Vacation Days

We believe in the important of having enough time to recharge. That’s why we offer:
  • 20 vacation days (based on full-time)
  • 3.5 vitality days (depending on your contract)
If you want more time off, you can purchase and use extra days from your FlexBudget (which also includes the value of any extra statutory leave). Additionally, other forms of leave, such as parental and care leave are well taken care of.

Public Transport Pass (OV Vrijkaart)

With the OV Vrijkaart, you can travel freely and unlimited across the Netherlands, even during your free time. This saves you time in traffic and reduces emissions. If you have a business appointment that’s hard to reach by public transport, you can use one of our electric cars or e-bikes.

Pension Contributions

It’s important to think about the future. That’s why we contribute 70% of your pension premium.

Eneco Academy

We give you all the space to develop yourself and work on your career. Besides departmental budgets for training, you’ll have a personal development budget of €500 per year (or you can save it up to €1500) to spend on a course or training of your choice.

Flexible working hours and location

Many of our colleagues work according to the ‘40-40-20’ principle. This means you work 40% at the office, 40% from home, and the remaining 20% wherever you feel most productive. You choose what works best for you and help reduce travel.

Since we work from home a lot, we provide you with an ergonomic home office setup. If you work at one of our other locations, like the bio-energy plant in Delfzijl, or are frequently on the road as a technician, different agreements apply for your workspace and working hours.
